After you play, stop by the bar for a drink. You can even swing by the pro shop in case you need something to improve your game on this challenging course. The beautiful clubhouse is also available to rent out for events.
Plum Brook is a public 18-hole golf course where everyone from beginners to advanced players can hone their skills. Established in 1927, this 6300 yard (5761 meters) public course is moderately priced and one of the best deals around. The greens here are impeccable and the course has consistently received high ratings within the Tri-County area.
Golf enthusiasts will find this an ideal spot to enjoy a game of golf. This award winning venue has two 18-hole courses and has hosted professional golf tournaments. Tree lined fairways, smooth, rolling greens and tough hazards make it a spot for a challenging and fun game. The north course opened in 1924 and is exclusively for members, while the south course has hosted the 1924, 1937, 1961, 1985 and 1996 U.S. Opens as well as the 2008 PGA championships. The clubhouse itself is a replica of George Washington's Mt. Vernon home and is worth visiting.
