The portions are quite large and if you're not too hungry, one entree can serve two easily. Overall, a great place for lunch or dinner.
One of the top dining destinations in Southwest Florida, Angelina's Ristorante has garnered rave reviews since it opened in Bonita Springs. Most patrons dress to impress, as there's a dress code in place for the main dining room. However, the well-lit lounge exudes a slightly more casual vibe without the suit-and-tie. Inside the kitchen, the chefs present a well-crafted menu that offers a good mix of traditional and contemporary dishes like ravioli, Veal Marsala and Tagliatelle Bolognese. The wine list provides some interesting options and in fact, it has received accolades from Wine Spectator magazine.
Il Tesoro sits in a pretty building bathing in eye-catching hues of blue with natural plants and flowing vines for company. The atmosphere inside is less colorful, but much more elegant, with rich use of woods giving it a slightly rustic touch. The mellow palette on the walls proves to be a strong base for the stunning artwork throughout the restaurant. Use of natural elements gives the place a very cozy and relaxed vibe. The menu oozes with chef A. J. Black's creativity and offers a great mix of traditional Italian favorites and the chef's own creations. Expect such delights as the Lobster Agrodolce Tempura and Polpetta Siciliana from their popular Antipasti choices as well as some great meat and seafood choices in the main courses. Signature creations include the mouthwatering Sea Bass Tesoro and Grouper Livornese. Finish off with the popular dessert creations. An excellent choice for a no non-sense Italian meal.
