Located a little away from the bustle of the city, the Centre Musical Es Gremi is one of the most prominent spaces on the islands known for their prolific music record. The center comprises of two halls - Sala 1 and Sala 2 - where both national and global bands come out to play. There is also a cafe called Coffee Club within the space, where the audience can stop by for a quick snack before moving on to the next musical sojourn.
The theater was built upon an old 19th Century building, however the sleek avant-guard design of the theater today does not even hint at its humble beginnings. Designed by Dutch architect Sander Douma, Velódromo Mallorca is considered to be one of the best in Europe. With capacity for 6607 spectators and modern, sleek surroundings, this is a great place to catch some high speed cycling. Besides sports, the facility is also used for large concerts and other local events.
The auditorium offers nine halls and of course, the four-story auditorium, for event usage. These events really run the gamut from stand-up comedy to classical music concerts to motivational speakers. Anything and everything happens at this complex, which was built in 1997 to accommodate all of Palma's entertainment needs.
