Set in the Burbank hills, the Wildwood Canyon Park is a lovely park that offers great hiking trails. Start at Havard Avenue and hike along this pathway, including steep paths and picturesque views as you head to peak of the hill for amazing views. Beware, the hike to the top is several miles-long and can be fairly challenging due to the steep pathway, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes.
Located away from the city, Bryce Canyon Park is often visited by the people wishing to indulge in some fun outings with their family. Boasting of large green spaces, a baseball court, tennis court and more, the park is suitable for people of all age groups. Patrons can simply enjoy the relaxing atmosphere or can even walk within the lush green area. There is a separate playground for children with amenities such as slides, stationary xylophones and swings. Feel free to carry your pet along as they are also welcomed here. The Japanese Garden is located at Tillman Water Reclamation Plant in Woodley Park and is a tranquil beautiful oasis. This garden was constructed in the 1980s and was designed by Dr. Koichi Kawana. Based around the idea of showing the beauty of reclaimed water, this garden is gorgeous with several attractions, including a zen garden and a tea house. The Japanese Garden is used for various events, including wedding ceremonies and filming for TV shows and movies.
