Note that the facility's 135-foot light tower illuminates the sky whenever there is an event in progress.

The King Arts Complex is the anchor of a small African American community east of downtown Columbus. Here, performing arts troupes from a wide variety of disciplines come to entertain the people. Bearing witness to any play or performance at Mershon Auditorium is a multi-sensory treat. Located adjacent to the Wexner Center for the Arts, this place has been host to remarkable performances since 1957. This 2,500 seater has unique seating options and can be arranged in numerous fashions to accommodate different types of productions. Being a part of the Ohio State University, it is host to many university and Wexner Center events.
