Taking pride in baking their own breads and pastries, they make everything on the menu from scratch. Most of their ingredients are from local producers and they even dry age and cure their beef on-site. Their creative, American menu is delightful. Cozy and intimate, this lovely restaurant and bar is also family-friendly. Don't miss out on their decadent desserts such as Butterscotch Pudding and Orangesicle Cake. The Downriver Grill is something of a local institution and it is one of Spokane's best fine dining establishments. The gorgonzola fries are crispy and delicious and there is a wide selection of entrees - grilled and otherwise - that will appeal to most diners. The restaurant is also known for its excellent tiramisu so don't forget to save room for dessert. The restaurant is popular so be sure to make a reservation. Closed on Sundays.
