The menu boasts being voted Spokane's best. It's hard to argue when Kahlua coffee warmers cause newcomers to feel welcome. If a Hibernian corned beef sandwich or an O'Caesar's salad with a pint of Guinness aren't enough to whet your appetite, then get your fill with a one pound Big "O" Burger. Remember to nail a dollar bill with your name on it to the wooden wall to become an honorary O'Doherty.
Post Street Ale House serves up extra-cold pints of beers (there are 20 types on rotating tap) and very reasonably priced food, all in a charmingly rustic setting. Found in the lovely Hotel Russo, pop in and try their specialty, deep fried pickles, served with the Ale House Sauce. There is also a tasty selection of burgers and sandwiches, dinner entrees (including the Guinness Braised Short Ribs) and some homey desserts, including the old favorite, the root beer float. Most entrees are under ten dollars, making this a great place to grab lunch that won't break the bank. Call for opening hours.
No-Li Brewhouse is a beer connoisseur's dream come true. Brewed on site, the beers served here are delicious and they promise something for everyone's taste. They have over ten beers that are regularly available and also have rotating brews on tap. There is plenty of bar food to satiate your hunger and the patio is perfect to cool of on a hot summer after noon. You can sit here with your beer while soaking in views of the peacefully flowing Spokane River.
