Südvorstadt is a neighborhood located to the south of Dresden, mainly known as the university area of the city. But the district is also home to a number of historical buildings with interesting architectural styles, the Feldschlößchen house being one of them. The Swiss, Bavarian and American quarters are worth a stroll as well, as one will find plenty of historic churches and cemeteries lined along the streets. This neighborhood is definitely worth a short visit if you are in Dresden.
