Pekin Noodle Parlor has been satisfying the folks of the historic Butte district in Montana since the 1880s with its delicious Chinese cuisine. The restaurant interiors are reminiscent of the early 1900s and feature beadboard partitions that are used for separating 17 eating booths. Glur's Tavern

Glur's Tavern dates back to 1876 and is said to be the oldest tavern that is still in operation in the region at Missouri River's west. Its most famous patron was William "Buffalo Bill" Cody, the hunter, who is rumored to have paid USD1000 to the pub. This tavern was known as the Bucher Saloon until 1914, after which it took its present name and started serving American snacks and craft beers. It still retains its historic character and is famous for its tangy burgers, sandwiches and beers, served at inexpensive prices. So head here for large mugs of beer, historic stories and classic American comfort food.

The Martin Hotel

The Martin Hotel came into existence in 1913 and was the brainchild of a French couple, Elisee Henri Martin and Augustine A. Martin. It was the abode of stockmen and sheepherders. Today it is a famous Basque restaurant. This historic venue with its commercial Vernacular style, cozy dining room, vintage hanging lamps and timber accents has a charm to it that is very alluring. Savor their Choice Rib Eye Steak, Grilled Cod, Chorizo and Nancy Burger for lunch. While for dinner, you can relish dishes like The Steak Martin, Solomo (boneless pork loin with fresh garlic and pimentos) and Chicken Marsala. Don't forget to sip on their equally famed Picon Punch. The Fox Tavern at the Hancock Inn

Dig into a new seasonal delight every day at New Hampshire’s oldest inn, Fox Tavern. Nosh on a sausage or an English muffin and pair it with a home-made bread or two. The Cranbury Inn

Located close to the Brainerd Lake, The Cranbury Inn is a turn of the century restaurant and event space which has been around since the mid-1700s. The interiors are also adorned with elements like colonial firearms, old lithographs and antique clocks that are reminiscent of the colonial period. The inn consists of two stagecoaches and a huge hall space which was built later to replace a big barn that had been destroyed in a fire in the year 1902. El Farol

Located on the historic Canyon Road, El Faro is one of the oldest restaurants in the neighborhood, this dining mainstay was here long before the area became the artists' haven. The '76 House

The '76 House is a charming restaurant situated in the historic building of a Dutch-style tavern dating back to the 17th Century. The tavern, which was built in 1686 and takes pride in being America's oldest restaurant, was the place where the town's meetings were first held and recorded. Founded in 1910, Cattlemen's Steakhouse is one of the oldest restaurants in Oklahoma, and for more than 100 years it has served thousands of people. Diners will find roasted perfection on the menu, with options like brisket, burnt ends, full slabs of ribs, dry-aged steaks the list goes on and on. Besides the delicious beef, they are also famous for their lamb fries, a most unusual delicacy (be sure to ask your server to describe them to you). Huber's

For almost a century and a quarter, this watering hole has been making every day "Turkey Day" in Downtown. Established in 1879, the bar is said to be Portland's oldest. The heavy, dark-wood tables are reminiscent of an Old World tavern. The menu has also expanded but turkey is still the main attraction. Cooked up in every way imaginable, Thanksgiving dinner is never out of season here. Full bar service is available. Do not forget to pick up a few interesting T-Shirts and memorabilia from the venue before leaving.
