Alpirsbach

Alpirsbach is a wonderful town known for its concert events at the Alpirsbach Abbey, most famously the Hopfenfest. The abbey itself is a marvel to look at, combining Romanesque and Gothic elements in a sublime manner. This scenic town in the Black Forest is also known for its unique wood framed houses, which spans most of the older settlement. The Old Town Hall is also something amazing to look at, and the gastronomic scene is fantastic too.

Altenahr

This small town strangely has around 5 excellent churches, each varying a bit in architecture and significance. The primary attraction is the Rococo Baumburg Monastery, the twin, onion-domed towers a unique sight, followed by the beautiful and Gothic Rabenden Church of St. James, founded in the 15th century. After exploring the churches, head over to the local beer garden via the Alz ferry, which takes you across the gentle river, making it an unforgettable experience for the senses.

Alzenau

Alzenau is a charming German town located a short distance away from Frankfurt am Main.
