Veli Lošinj

Located on the island of Lošinj in Croatia's Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Veli Lošinj is a serene little village that dates back to the 14th Century. What was once an unpopulated stretch of land began to thrive during the 17th Century, remnants of which can be witnessed to this day through the historic Baroque buildings in the town. In the modern times, Veli Lošinj became home to a shipyard that produced sailboats. The town of Trogir dates back to the 3rd Century BCE when it was founded by Greek colonists.
