The Relics of St. Munditia at St. Peter's Church in Munich, are one of the most eerie yet intriguing attractions in the city. Comprising a jeweled skeleton of Saint Munditia- the patron saint of spinsters- the site is flocked by a hordes of tourists, who visit the church to pay their respects. The skeleton sits inside a glass box, dressed in jeweled robes, with glass eyes and goblet of dried blood in her hand.
Set in the beautiful Englischer Garten, Schönfeldwiese is tucked away between the Japanisches Teehaus and Monopteros. A brook divides these attractions from this vast green expanse. A popular spot for nude sunbathing since the 1960s, it is a norm for people to enjoy the sun in the buff at this place. Don't be surprised if the numbers are many, just enjoy the lush environs.
