The biggest and most prestigious comedy venue in town, the Glee Club makes for a highly entertaining evening out. If you like, you can combine curry and comedy on Thursday nights when the entry also includes a balti with rice and naan more than the normal admission price. Wednesdays are student nights, when you can get in with an NUS card and four-pint jugs. Most performers are well known on the comedy or music circuit, including the occasional star name such as Jack Dee, Johnny Vegas, James Blunt, and Supergrass. There are normally three acts per night. Be careful on if you're in a single-sex party of more than 13, everyone will have to pay some refundable good behavior bond.

Birmingham Hippodrome was built in 1899 and is a popular venue in Birmingham for the performing arts. Resorts World Arena is a fabulous event venue that is located within the National Exhibition Centre (NEC). This large venue has hosted big names and famous artists like Beyonce and Prince.
