Circus Art Cafe is a hidden little gem in the district of Ponte. The cafe has two functions, during the day mom is usually in the kitchen preparing traditional, homemade piatti and her daughter runs the front of the house. At night, the cafe turns into a bar/club that hosts local DJs and slings stylish drinks. Inside, the bright, vivid and eclectic decor contrasts with the archaic surroundings of the 'Eternal City' outside. If you come for lunch, Circus has tons of cool international magazines and newspapers available to peruse while you wait for mamma. Overall, it's a very nice find when you want to escape the all the historicity and exchange it for a little modernity.
