For a moment it seems like it could be someone's home, with sofas and matching tables, the coffee service all set out. The music could encourage you to sit down and make yourself comfortable, but there's so much to see! Plates from the old days, book upon book, record players, records and CDs, kitchen furniture, clothes, pictures and, and, and. The prices vary, though nearly everything is a deal. Glasses cost between two and five marks, and there are usually whole sets.
Humana is a well known secondhand chain in Germany and takes their role helping the needy seriously. Prices are incredibly reasonable and proceeds go to a good cause. In bigger cities you often find Humana containers where you can donate bags of used clothing. Information about their concept and the countries that they are helping can be found on their homepage as well as the addresses of other shops.
