Named after Duke Karl Eugen, this tourist hot spot is adorned with a statue of King Wilhelm I. A famed enclosure, Karlsplatz can become thronged by residents and tourists alike, for it houses local events like the periodic flea market or even the fish market. Take a walk at Karlsplatz at anytime during the week and you will always find a local gathering taking place.

This historical street is a shopping and entertainment destination in Stuttgart. It attracts a lot of people because of its food and vegetable stores that sell less expensive but good quality products. This venue is also the site of historical Executioner Festival which features grand stands with enormous food and wine options accompanied by music and fun.

Turmforum at Stuttgart Central Station stands 56 meters (183 feet) tall, capped by a viewing platform that offers a sweeping panorama of the City Center. The lookout platform can be reached by a spiral staircase or via a free lift. The main sight is of Stuttgart 21, a major urban development project that includes the revamping of Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof. Exhibits within the tower throw light on this project and also on other initiatives for city improvement. The tower also bears a clock with a radius of around 5.5 meters (918 feet). There is a Mercedes-Benz star rotating atop the tower that serves as a visual attraction. At this tower, you can embark on discovery tours, educational outings, and host a conference or wedding reception. Else, simply enjoy the panoramic view in the company of a loved one.

Killesberg is a haven for flower and gardening lovers. It is an oasis of tranquility and peace. With its magnificent flora, large grassy areas and the spectacular lookout tower, the park has become a must visit when around the Killesberg Hill. There are lakes, terraces, restaurants, narrow-gauge railway, children's play areas, and more fun activities that one can think of. The park is home to the Killesberg Railway as well.

Gottlieb Daimler was a brilliant engineer and industrial designer who helped to shape the world of locomotion and invented the high-speed petrol engine. In 1882, Daimler bought the Taubenheimstraße estate in Cannstatt. The grounds included a greenhouse that Daimler turned into his workshop, where he designed some of his greatest inventions. After his death, Daimler's estate and grounds - including the famed greenhouse - were made into a memorial honoring the inventor. The memorial houses many of Daimler's inventions and documents, which are on display for visitors to look at.

After being bored with Solitude, Duke Carl Eugen started to build a new palace, Hohenheim, in 1785. After the duke's death, the building remained unfinished. Finally in 1818, it gave home to the newly founded Agricultural University. Nowadays, presents the main entrance of the Agricultural University. Here you will find more than 1000 conifers and deciduous trees from all over the world; some were planted nearly 200 years ago. They all have their name-plates in the botanic as well as in the exotic garden. If gardens aren't enough to tickle your fancy, the school's Balkonsaal sees a number of events throughout the year.
