Tokyo International Forum

Tokyo International Forum is an excellent venue for music, theater, dance performances, cinema and art exhibitions. It consists of four buildings, each with its own venue hall. Live performances are usually staged in Hall A and Hall B. The facilities are marvelous and include a variety of restaurants that cater to a wide range of culinary tastes. Concerts are also sometimes staged in the afternoon and evening.

Suntory Hall

Suntory Hall is one of Tokyo's best concert venues for classical music. It harbors two concert halls: the Main Hall with a capacity of 2006 and the Blue Rose Hall with a capacity of 432. The larger hall mainly features orchestral concerts and pipe organ recitals, while the smaller hall offers a wide range of different classical genres, including popular children's concerts. Wines, cocktails and coffee are available at the Bar Intermezzo before each concert and during intermission. The concert halls gives the impression of opulence with great, ambient lighting and the stage right in the middle, with the seating arranged in a semi-circle on different levels. So, definitely go for a show here, it is well worth the price.

Tokyo Dome

The Tokyo Dome is an architectural marvel located in the heart of Tokyo. The dome resembles a huge egg externally, and is air-supported internally by a pressure fan that maintains air pressure to keep the dome elevated. It is home to the Yomiuri Giants baseball team, and plays host to baseball games throughout the year. The dome also holds the distinction of being the biggest concert venue in Japan. International superstars such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, and the Backstreet Boys have performed at the venue. Located close by is the Tokyo Dome Hotel, containing an amusement park, restaurants and cafes, and the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. This place is a one-stop entertainment phenomenon!

Club 333

Club 333 in the Tokyo Tower is the perfect place to watch the sun set over the city before a big night out on the town. Live jazz, R&B or bossa nova is played throughout the observatory area, so visitors can choose to watch the performers or enjoy the stunning view of the glittering Tokyo skyline visible from the large windows. Entry to the club is included in the observatory fee. All in all, this is a great place to unwind with loved ones.

Billboard Live

One of the top venues in the city for high-profile performances and events, Billboard Live in Tokyo Midtown is exciting as it is unique. With a glass backdrop that faces Hinokicho Park, the audience can enjoy the awe-inspiring cityscape until the show begins. Billboard Live is designed in a contemporary format, with the main auditorium featuring diverse seating options - while the lower and middle half constitutes of table and sofa seating, the upper level has a standing area. In the past, Billboard Live has enthralled audiences with concerts by Keith Emerson, Maxi Priest and ABC.

Tokyo Opera City

Tokyo Opera City is a state of the art concert hall with excellent acoustics but, despite its name, doesn't stage operas. Nevertheless, it puts on an innovative and varied concert program ranging from solo recitals to full orchestral concerts. It has a seating capacity of 1632. Inside the hall there is a wine bar serving drinks and snacks. For a full meal, however, visitors can take the elevator to the 53rd or 54th floors where there is a selection of eateries - and the view is stunning. The Opera City also houses a gallery that holds art exhibitions four times a year. Its objective is to preserve and present authentic Japanese culture amidst Tokyo's metropolitan atmosphere.
