Metro Theatre

One of Sydney's most famous and popular independent rock venues, Metro Theater has witnessed some of the greatest rock shows ever and is a hub of flurry activities round the year. This place is also home to many a local acts and provides a well-deserved spearhead for artists vying to break into the rock scene. Apart from rock concerts, MTV's The Lair is one such show that is held here weekly. The Metro is also available for hire.

State Theatre

The marvelous State Theatre is located in Sydney's central business district. Within it, hangs one of the worlds largest crystal chandeliers. Classified by the National Trust of Australia as a building of historical significance, the theater was lavishly redone in the early 1980s. Its main focus is performing arts and live entertainment. Star Casino

Sydney Opera House

The controversial but decidedly beautiful sail-like roofs of Sydney's most recognizable icon glisten against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour. Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace

Originally the North Shore Picture Palace, the Orpheum was fully restored to its former art-deco splendor in the 1990s. It houses a main cinema which seats 750, as well as five smaller cinemas. Films vary from main stream to art-house and there are sometimes live cabaret performances. A special feature is the original Wurlitzer Organ. It rises up onto the stage and the flamboyant organist entertains with several numbers.

Sydney Olympic Park

Sydney Olympic Park was a spectacular sight at the onset of the new millennium when it hosted the Sydney 2000 Olympics. The Park still maintains a similar splendor in organizing interesting events. There are different spaces which cater to varied requirements. The Olympic Park has the Hockey Centre, Aquatic Centre, Athletic Centre, State Sports Centre and also a separate Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre. It is a venue with all the required facilities and services to conduct any possible event. Circus Arts Sydney

Stadium Australia

The ANZ Stadium, which is also referred to as Stadium Australia, was constructed in 1999 for use as the main stadium of the 2000 Summer Olympics. Aside from the Olympics, the multi-purpose stadium has also hosted events like the Rugby World Cup and the Bledisloe Cup, domestic and international cricket and football matches, as well as, concerts of popular music stars. Qudos Bank Arena

This stadium, also known as the Sydney Super Dome, is the first of its kind to be built in Australia, and a large, multi-purpose venue for staging indoor sport and entertainment extravaganzas. The sophisticated, Philip Cox designed building, boasts column-free viewing with a full roof for protection, five levels of comfortably designed seating and four centrally located high-resolution video screens. The arena is home of the Sydney Kings and Flames Basketball teams and also puts on Supercross motorbike races.
