Metro Theatre

One of Sydney's most famous and popular independent rock venues, Metro Theater has witnessed some of the greatest rock shows ever and is a hub of flurry activities round the year. This place is also home to many a local acts and provides a well-deserved spearhead for artists vying to break into the rock scene. Apart from rock concerts, MTV's The Lair is one such show that is held here weekly. The Metro is also available for hire.

State Theatre

The marvelous State Theatre is located in Sydney's central business district. Within it, hangs one of the worlds largest crystal chandeliers. Classified by the National Trust of Australia as a building of historical significance, the theater was lavishly redone in the early 1980s. Its main focus is performing arts and live entertainment. Go along for a show or take yourself on a tour.

Capitol Theatre

This 2,000 seat Capitol Theatre was originally a luxury picture palace and circus, with the seal pit still under the auditorium. The Capitol fell into disrepair, but an extensive renovation restored her to her former glory. The elegant Florentine garden theme features Grecian statues, gold, velvet, and a wonderful starry night ceiling. It hosts a variety of shows, from big musicals through to classic old film screenings.

The Hordern Pavilion

Affectionately known by Sydney's young as "The Hordern", an architecturally well known landmark; Hordern Pavilion is the ultimate entertainment venue for the city of Sydney. Located in the historic Moore Park a number of legends and maestros such as Frank Sinatra, Coldplay, Cirque du Soleil, Billy Connolly to name a few have walked through the walls of Hordern. The structure meets modern standard in every way you can conjure. With a capacity of 3500 people, state-of-the-art sound, lighting and technology access and a stately dome make it the place every vies for when it comes to events and extravaganzas.

Enmore Theatre

Located only a stroll from Newtown, the family-run Enmore Theatre was built in 1908. Recently renovated, with a re-designed foyer and first floor bar and cafe, the auditorium offers 1,600 new, comfortable seats in both dress circle and stalls. A melting pot of cultural fare, performances vary from flamenco dancing and foreign spectaculars to cabaret, rock bands and mainstream musicals. They also have special shows for children. Prices vary according to performance.

Qudos Bank Arena

This stadium, also known as the Sydney Super Dome, is the first of its kind to be built in Australia, and a large, multi-purpose venue for staging indoor sport and entertainment extravaganzas. The sophisticated, Philip Cox designed building, boasts column-free viewing with a full roof for protection, five levels of comfortably designed seating and four centrally located high-resolution video screens. The arena is home of the Sydney Kings and Flames Basketball teams and also puts on Supercross motorbike races.
