"All things French"

Managed by the French Embassy, this thriving language and cultural centre is in the heart of residential Colombo. Facilities includes a library, a theatre and a cafe. French language courses are the main staple of this centre but movies are also screened, including some of the great classics of French cinema.

The centre hosts art exhibitions and music recitals in its auditorium--usually by foreign or local artists with French connections. The bigger events are usually held in the commercial theatres. The Alliance truly adds a great deal to the cultural life of the city.
