Southern Star Brewing Company

Southern Star Brewing has been open and serving Conroe and the Houston area since 2008. They began with just their signature Pine Belt Pale Ale but now they have expanded to also brewing up their Buried Hatchet Stout and Bombshell Blonde. In addition to their usual suspects, Southern Star also hosts a homebrewing competition, the Pro-Am, where the winning beer is produced on a large scale by the brewery. Saturday afternoon the brewery opens up for free tours so people can come learn a little about this craft brew, hang out and enjoy the goods from the brewery and the food trucks that come to provide sustenance to the masses. Tours are offered on Saturdays from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
