"Wine & Beer"
In the earlier days, this area was a known haven for prostitutes. To avoid rumours that Husmanns Vinstue was a brothel, Adelaide Husmann (a woman) totally banned women from entering her bar. It was finally lifted in 1953, but until 1981 women were allowed only when accompanied by men. Today, Husmanns Vinstue is a classic wine cellar and pub, and offers the same ambience it did in 1907, when Husmann was still around.
