The Battle of Crysler Farm is a celebrated episode from the War of 1812, during which British and Canadian troops held back advancing American forces. Having prepared well for battle, the small British army thwarted American Major General Wilkinson's plan to head down the South Lawrence River and join other troops in an attack on Montreal, leading to a haphazard battle with numerous casualties. In 1920, the Crysler Farm battlefield was named a National Historic Site, and it hosts battle reenactments annually. History buffs will enjoy the site's memorial structure and visitors center. The visitors center offers interactive battlefield models, soldier dioramas, and an audio-visual presentation to help its guests learn about the Battle of Crysler Farm.

In-Law Brewing Company is a small microbrewery owned and operated by a brother-in-law duo. Though this brewery is primarily a retail outlet that serves a few unusual beer varieties in the region, you can pay a visit on Thursdays when they invite you to their cozy, little taproom for on-site tastings. The place is only meant for the beer enthusiasts as they do not offer a varied food menu or a great ambiance unlike the other brewpubs or breweries.

The once-impressive Roman Catholic Church in Williamstown was reduced to a ruined state after a fire in 1970. In 1999, St Raphael's Ruins gained a place in the National Historic Site. Today, the ruins assume a hauntingly beautiful appearance, against the backdrop of expansive green fields. The outer facade of the church still stands tall, punctuated by arched windows around its perimeter. Come summer, the ruins are open to the public, who typically come here to dwell on the nostalgic past, marvel at the architecture or simply find beauty in the ruined state. A curator is also available on site in the months of July and August.
