Located in beautiful Bayfront Park, the Harbor Playhouse consists of hundreds of volunteers and actors that perform about four productions each year. Since 1925 it has entertained city dwellers as well as tourists who happen to stumble upon a performance. Some interpretations include contemporary drama, musicals and comedies. Additionally, the theater has special events scheduled throughout the year. One of the most popular is the annual Halloween open house featuring actors dressed as ghosts and goblins.
House of Rock fulfills all the requirements for a good night. With a full bar, entertainment venue and a kitchen that churns out better-than-average pizza, you really never have to leave. The main bar allows guests 21+ and the venue allows all ages to listen to live music. Thursday through Saturday is when you can see shows, and in addition to pizzas, House of Rock offers salads and sandwiches while the bar stocks more than 80 beers.

Located on the campus of Del Mar College, the Richardson Performance Hall presents entertaining productions that feature college students, organizations and the community at-large as the primary actors. Most of the productions range from jazz music, percussion, dance and other types of stage performances like musicals.
Established in 2016, Comics Live features an array of renowned comedians from near and far showcasing their talents. The venue can also be used as a stage for jazz performances while you could enjoy a glass of wine and a savory Italian meal curated by renowned chef Salvatore Colicci. The Old Concrete Street Amphitheater is a colossal venue divided into two parts. The “Pavilion Shows”, which are for general admissions and the “Amphitheater Shows”. The latter has lawn seating and VIP seating. Swing to the music of the biggest and the best bands that perform here from time to time. But beware of what you carry inside, as the rules are extremely strict. The theater also holds fund raising events, birthday parties, company picnics and much more. Out with your chairs and blankets!
