"A Watery Theme"

Aptly housed in a restored reservoir built in 1882, Museu do Morro da Caixa D'Agua Velha displays an interesting collection of water-related objects. The former reservoir's underground location is fascinating, and together with displays that include shower heads, cast-iron pipes and more, makes for a great visit. One of the more unusual museums in Cuiabá, Museu do Morro da Caixa D'Agua Velha is well worth a trip.
