Mercado do Porto

Mercado do Porto is a huge market located in the Porto neighborhood of Cuiabá. A weekly market, it operates only on Sundays, and is a huge crowd puller. One of the best and biggest markets in Cuiaba, it sells everything from fish, meat and fruits, to cheese, pastries and vegetables. The market also has stalls which sell clothes and handicrafts. A number a small cafeterias present in the market serve some delicious local food and drinks. The market remains an attraction for tourists and locals alike.
