Spread across 36,000 square meters (387,501 square feet), Museu de História Natural is surrounded by pine and imbuia trees and is into researching the Brazilian ecosystems. It also houses zoological collections of animals, birds, mammals and fish. These taxidermied animals are all placed in replicated environs giving the visitor an insight to its natural habitat and more. There are two exhibits - external and internal. The internal highlights the four ecosystems while the external has dioramas on display along the pine pathway.
