Vulkaneifel Nature and Geopark

Located in the scenic Eifel region of northwestern Rhineland-Palatinate, Volcanic Eifel Nature Park is a UNESCO-recognized geopark. This geological marvel, known for its dramatic volcanic features, stretches across cities like Daun, Hillesheim, and Gerolstein and showcases around 350 volcanic features, including the striking "Eyes of the Eifel," twelve lakes nestled in maar craters.
