A one-of-a-kind educational destination in Daytona Beach, the Marine Science Center is where kids and adults alike can go to learn about nature conservation efforts in the Volusia County area. Daytona Playhouse is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting the arts in Daytona Beach. Open since 1946, this theater company has been entertaining local audiences and exposing them to quality community theater productions. The theater itself is well-appointed and each seat provides a great view of the stage. The theater offers a discount for groups, as well as season subscriptions. Matinee shows are performed on Sundays.

The Howard Thurman House is the former residence of noted author and educator Howard Thurman. On the list of National Register of Historic Places since 1990, the house is located on Whitehall Street on Daytona Beach in Florida. The property is now privately owned and the interiors are not open to visitors, one can just view it from outside.
The Stockton-Lindquist House is a historic residence built in 1870. It is the most ancient home in DeLand and has been a part of the National Register of Historic Places since 2004. A foundation has been set up which preserves and takes care of the historic home. This beautiful house has been recognized as a Florida Archaeological Site and has also been added to the Volusia County Register of Historic Places.

Located at the East Euclid Avenue is the 6000 seat Spec Martin Stadium. Initially host to the Stetson University Hatters football team, the stadium now hosts various high school and college level football matches. It has also been the location for the film The Waterboy, that released in 1988. A match for the Rugby League World Cup 2017 also took place here.
