The News Journal Center (NJC) is located at Daytona State College. One of the college's many event venues, the NJC is most certainly the best-looking and the best-equipped. The center can host up to 9,312 people and is known for its sound technical fixtures and modern amenities. Since its inception in 1985, the center is a preferred venue for many business events such as conferences, meetings, seminars, and conventions. It plays host to prominent local events as well including annual shows like National Reptile Breeders Expo, Harley Davidson Motorcycle Show, Daytona Beach Garden Show, and Spring Break Nationals.
