Dorchester North Burying Ground is located at at Stoughton Street and Columbia Road in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. It is a historic burial ground surrounded by a wall of concrete, with cut-out sections containing iron fencing along Columbia Road, which replaced a 19th-century decorative iron and granite fence. This site was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 18, 1974.

It got added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 5, 2005.
The renowned Dane Estate was originally referred as Roughwood. The structure design depicts influences from the Richardson style and the estate is mostly made from locally sourced materials. This 1891 structure is now owned by the Pine Manor College and is available for weddings and other private events.

It finely exemplifies the Beaux Arts style of architecture. It is a magnificently structured house and the Winchester Historical Society works towards its conversion into a community cultural center, meeting place and a gallery. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
