While the brewery offers guided tours every Saturday, the taproom is a fun space where patrons can taste fresh seasonal and year-round brews. Some of the specialties of Jackalope Brewing Company include the Thunder Ann American Pale Ale, Rompo Red Eye Ale and the Leghorn Rye India Pale Ale. Alongside sampling of the beers, guests can also engage in some spontaneous trivia revelry, held every Thursday night.

Possibly the city's oldest watering hole, Springwater Supper Club & Lounge has been here so long that the current owner does not even know when it was first built. Just be glad it was, because there's no place like it in town. Nothing fancy about the interior, which consists of a large room with a good stage and bar. The crowd is interesting most nights, but not nearly as interesting as the music. Bands, from country to punk rock, take the stage every weekend. There is never a cover charge nor a dull moment here.
