Often referred to as "The Entertainment Capital of Texas," Six Flags offers 200 acres (809,371 square meters) of rides, shows and attractions. For many years, this family amusement park has delighted Texans and others from around the world. Favorites include the 109-foot-tall (33 meters) "Batman the Ride," which travels up to 50 miles per hour (80 kilometers per hour) and exciting re-creations of the Wild West complete with gunslingers in an action-filled street shootout. Rates and seasonal hours vary, especially in winter.
Opened at the beginning of 2013, Community Beer Company likes to think of itself as more than just a craft brewery. The brewery hosts tours every Saturday afternoon and the price gets you a pint glass and four drink tickets so you can sample the wares. They usually have a few food trucks posted up during touring times too so you can delight all your taste buds. In addition to the tours, Community Beer Company hosts all kinds of community events at the brewery like art shows, concerts and beer school just to name a few.
Harbor Bay Marina, located next to Lake Ray Hubbard, is a beautiful spot offering good entertainment and outdoor activities. The marina has 350 boat slips and can dock boats up to 30 inches tall. It also provides safe boat launching facilities. The on-site store has a good supply of gas, boating equipment, snacks, and drinks, while the outdoor swimming pool is a good place to relax your tired nerves. The marina has an enclosed fishing area where you can catch fishes such as Catfish, Sand and Black Bass and Bream.
