Während der geschäftigsten Zeit am Morgen kann es vorkommen, dass man auf einen Tisch warten muss. The place is small in size and has limited seating spaces but what it lacks in space it more than compensates with its delicious and unique coffee. The cafe resembles a quaint home because of its wonderful wooden interior and a small kiosk. Mostly frequented by young professionals and college students, Spitfire Coffee has loyal patrons.

Since the early 1980s, Dong Phoung Oriental Bakery and Restaurant has been providing New Orleans East with fresh breads, pastries and Vietnamese cuisine. Erin Rose, a Nascar-themed bar, which is smartly placed in an old apartment house. It may seem a little small for a bar, but once you enter you'll realize that there exists a front bar and a back bar, not to mention the kitchen which operates occasionally in preparing some bar food.
