Windsor Court Hotel
Von außen wirkt die rosafarbene Granitfassade vielleicht unscheinbar, doch am Inneren des Gebäudes lässt sich gleich erkennen, wieso das Windsor als das beste Hotel von New Orleans gilt. Im 24 Stockwerk hohen Gebäude findet man italienischen Marmor und antike Einrichtungsgegenstände, in den Korridoren der unteren Stockwerke kann man klassische Kunstwerke bewundern. Im ersten Stock befindet sich ein Lesesaal. Die weiträumigen Gästezimmer sind luxuriös und mit allen Standards eingerichtet, in einigen der feudalen Suites findet man außerdem Marmorbäder, Glastüren und Kochnischen vor. Trotz dieses wertvollen Interieurs werden Kinder gerne gesehen.

Das Monteleone Hotel ist nicht nur das älteste sondern auch das größte Hotel im French Quarter. Unter der Führung von vier Generationen der Monteleone-Familie beherbergte es seit 1886 bereits Größen wie Truman Capote, Tennessee Williams und William Faulkner.
Eine großangelegte Renovierung im Jahre 1996 hat seinem Charme keinen Abbruch getan, im Gegenteil. Aufgrund seiner Größe sind außerdem fast immer Zimmer im Monteleone Hotel frei.
