Dieses 1890 eröffnete Café, in dem alle großen Schriftsteller des Jahrhunderts verkehrten, ist ein Stück Pariser Kulturgeschichte. Der französische Philosoph Jean-Paul Sartre hat auf der berühmten Terrasse immer seinen Kaffee mit Croissant zu sich genommen. Heute kann man hier rasch etwas essen oder ein Gläschen Champagner trinken, nachdem man einen Einkaufsbummel in den Luxusboutiquen des Viertels gemacht hat.
