Located right in front of Union Station, the Lamp Post Clock dates back to the 1880s, making it a relic of Kansas City's glorious past. Through it's more than 100 year life span, the grand clock has stood at numerous spots in the city, landing finally at the Union Station in 1936. Ironically, the clock fell prey to the rigors of time and was briefly out of service In 2015. Thankfully, the majestic clock was restored to its former glory through a private donation in the subsequent year and proudly stands now as an essential part of the station.
Located on the sprawling campus of University of Missouri - Kansas City, the James C. Olson Performing Arts Center is a spectacular venue for performing arts. Undergoing major renovations, the theater has a seating capacity of 585. With modern amenities and latest equipment, the theater is the home of Kansas City Repertory Theatre.
Located in the Kansas City Power & Light District, the Copaken Stage is a performance venue. The 317 seat theater is right in the heart of the city and was opened in February 2007. After Spencer Theater, Copaken Stage was opened as a second home venue for Kansas City Repertory Theater.
