This is one of the best and the most expensive restaurants in Riga. Located in Hotel Bergs in Berga Bazārs – a quiet oasis of nice shops and cafes, this restaurant has an elegant interior design and intimate atmosphere. The international menu as well as everything else here are made to impress. Duck breast with red wine is a definite favorite among patrons. Highly professional service and beautiful creations by the chef will make dinner a pleasurable experience. The bar remains open, although the restaurant is closed in Sundays.

Rozengrāls

Rozengrāls is a medieval restaurant located in a small street in Old Town in the premises, which according to the scripts of 1293, were used as a wine cellar. The Riga City Council considers it to be the most ancient place of its kind. The dim candle lights, medieval interior with terrific decoration, waitresses wearing appropriate clothes, authentic food, all create a fantastic atmosphere. While it is rather expensive, it is worth visiting. There is space for 150 guests, and smoking and non-smoking areas.

Galerija Istaba

This is a unique Riga cafe. On the ground floor visitors can purchase souvenirs and art objects created by Latvian artists, and then enjoy a meal on the first floor. Everything is simple, they don't offer a menu, and you order directly to the chef. This is one of the few cafes in Riga where beer is served in bottles.

Vincents Restaurant

Vincents serves excellent Latvian food at its neat restaurant here, in Riga. There's delicious Goose confit pelmeny with chicken consomme, succulent Hermit Crab and the Chevre cheesecake with rhubarb is something to die for. The menu reflects something like a French-Latvian marriage of dishes. Osiris has class; however you look at it. Everything from the general atmosphere to the food to the background music has elegance and a high standard of class. Osiris, which is a favorite hangout of the artistically-inclined, isn't located in the best looking building in Riga. But the whole place spells elegance and the wonderfully unique menu makes Osiris perfect for any meal of the day.
