The Carnegie Corporation provided funds for the library’s construction. Listed in the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, this historical landmark was restored by the Tampa city.
Located within The David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, The Rehearsal Hall is what a typical rehearsal place looks like. With mirrored walls and ballet barres this place is used mostly by the performers. Although, more often than not this place serves as a venue for more informal performances. If you don't mind watching a performance on a chair or sitting on the floor, this place is quite fun to be.
Ferguson Hall, located in the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, is one of the five major halls in the venue. The theater has the perfect seating and performing area and is host to off-beat theater performances, children's production and local musical groups. The two levels of curving balcony create an illusion of space. A magnificent way to spend the night at the theater.
