Dirty Dog Jazz Cafe

Detroit is not often regarded as being an integral part of America's jazz scene, and sure it may not be as large as Chicago, New York, Kansas City, etc., but the Motor City still has some jazz joints that can hold their own. This classy spot in Grosse Pointe is one such place. Inside, it's traditional supper club all the way, where beer and bread is served with a side of Bebop. The red walls, dim lighting and white tablecloths create an intimate space, perfect for a date or a casual dinner with a small group of friends. The Dirty Dog also rents out the elegant, wood-paneled Boardroom for private events with parties of up to 25 people.
