KordaZone Theater

KordaZone Theater is the base of the acclaimed Korda Artistic Productions. Opened in 2007, this intimate theater showcases the works of this theater group which was established in 2003. You will find a myriad of shows ranging from musicals to originals, classics to contemporary, Canadian and pantomime that will keep you enthralled. The theater is available for rent as well.

Mackenzie Hall

Mackenzie Hall was built in the mid 19th century and has a rich history behind it. This building was originally used as a courthouse, jail, and gallows and is one of the oldest buildings in the city. Today Mackenzie Hall is the hub of the cities cultural activities and frequently hosts live music performances, concerts, art exhibitions, theater, social events, and also conducts classes and workshops that focus on igniting the cultural and artistic spark within. The building itself is a beautiful example of architecture in the early Windsor years and is a must visit when in the city.

Capitol Theatre

Capitol Theatre is located in the cultural center of Windsor city along the Detroit river. This Theater, which first opened its doors in the year 1920, is now the hub of art and culture in the city and still retains that rustic charm and grandeur. The theater has 3 large event spaces that are host to plays, concerts, comedy shows, dances and much more. Capitol Theatre is also the home of the renowned Windsor Symphony Orchestra and many of the most prestigious art groups of the city.

Willistead Manor

Built in 1906, this beautiful English mansion, once the home of Edward Chandler Walker, is called the Willistead Manor. Designed in the Tudor-Jacobean style of architecture, the expansive mansion boasts of 36 individually designed rooms that are surrounded by a 15 acre (6.07 hectares) park. Today, the historical mansion is not only open for tours but the house and the grounds can also be hired for private events and celebrations. If you want to glimpse at a slice of history, then head to the Willistead Manor for a great time.

Chrysler Theatre

The Chrysler Theatre is located along the banks of the Detroit river in the St. Clair College of arts and is a hotspot for art and culture in the city. The theater offers entertainment for everyone, young and old and plays host to various music concerts, theater shows, stand-up comedy performances and entertainment shows for children. The theater is excellently designed ensuring that every seat in the house is exceptional. The Olde Walkerville Theatre

Built in 1920 as the Tivoli Theatre, it was designed by famed American architect, C. Howard Crane. This art-deco building was initially a vaudeville theater and later became a movie theater. After the closure of the theater, the venue was a bingo hall and later a gay nightclub in 2000. The Olde Walkerville Theatre was reborn in 2014 after a complete overhaul with its original design. It is now a premier performing arts space. From concerts to theater, dance shows and musicals, this tiered theater ensures that no seat is a bad one.
