"Various Aged Finds"

With more than 29000 artifacts that has been excavated from the archaeological digs in the vicinity, the Diyarbakir Archaeological Museum is one of the most renowned museums in the area. Established in 1934, the museum featured collections from different ages including Prehistoric Ages. It was moved to its current location in 1985, and after multiple renovations and preservation, it was opened in 1993 to the public.
