Located close to the town of Dragør, Amager Museum was established in 1901. The museum’s main objective is to preserve and collect the island’s history. They showcase a number of exhibits like traditional clothing, paintings, tools, equipments, kitchenware and furniture. They even host events like the annual Christmas gathering, summer workshops and a lot more. The museum also features a vegetable garden that is managed by the volunteers at the museum. A variety of herbs that are grown here are sold at the museum’s store.
