Miraj Islamic Art Centre

A brainchild of Mujeeb Mir, Miraj Islamic Art Centre nurtures and promotes the traditions of Islam. The artworks and artifacts housed here, throw light on the rich history of the religion, the changes it has undergone through the years and its impact on culture and lifestyle of the followers. The handiwork displayed are sourced from various regions that the religion was practiced in: Egypt, Persia, Syria, Northern India, turkey and Damascus. Paintings, weapons, carpets, royal robes, curtains, engravings, cutlery and more are part of the extensive collection on display.
