Formerly known as Al Diyafah Street the name was changed to 2nd of December Street in 2011, to commemorate United Arab Emirates' 40th anniversary. This street, stretching across 2,500 meters (8202.1 meters) and home to various eateries and shopping outlets, is popular among tourists.
