"Dublin's Literary Pub"

This two-level pub was established in the 18th century and is named after the second Duke of Grafton, Charles Fitzroy. Main literary giants of Ireland have been regulars at this place. The Duke has a typical Irish "feel", old-worldly charm, friendly atmosphere, quick service and a good carvery lunch. The Duke is the starting point for the renowned Dublin Literary Pub Crawl. It's still very much a middle-of-the-road pub, however, drawing a diverse mix of locals and tourists alike. This is also the starting point of Dublin Literary Pub Crawl.
