Garage Bar

Garage Bar is the place to be in Temple Bar for its trendy music and interiors and the reasonable prices of its cocktails. The ground-floor bar has a startling red façade that resembles a bus, in sharp contrast with the quaint brick-walled building above it, with hanging flower pots. The interiors too have fiery red walls decorated with pictures of Rock and Roll icons. Funky green and blue stools, red car fronts, old tyres and petrol pump apparatus from the 1930s are strewn all over the floor, which is sprinkled with sawdust. DJs play groovy tunes of Rock and Roll, New Wave, Punk and Northern Soul, as well as Motown's classic hits. Guests can enjoy beverages such as Tiger draft beer and the tequila-infused Fizzy Lizzy cocktail.
