"Ancient Cemetery"
Located in Southern Dublin, Mount Jerome Cemetery and Crematorium was named after Reverend Stephen Jerome of St. Kevin's Parish. It was established in 1836. Earlier it used to be a Protestant cemetery, but later Roman Catholics were buried here too. Poet Thomas Caulfield Irwin, Sir Charles Cameron and Thomas Drummond, former Under-Secretary for Ireland were laid to rest here.
