The Celt is a traditional Irish Pub located in the heart of Dublin City. The pub offers tasty pub grubs, generous pours on tap and live traditional Celtic music every night of the week. Bursting with a vibrant and friendly atmosphere, you most probably won't forget a night at this local favorite. If you're visiting the northern side of the city, The Celt is the perfect location for a warm bowl of soup in the winter or a cool and refreshing pint during summer.

Queen of Tarts lies on the edge of Temple Bar and is one of the city's finest cafes. Everything on the menu is home-made on the premises, and the cafe specializes in excellent cakes, scones and crumbles. Tasty breakfasts, delicious savoury tarts and good coffee are also on offer. Queen of Tarts has built up a considerable reputation for fine food and courteous service after only a few years in business; and has now established a branch in the newly refurbished City Hall, right across the road.

Bar Italia is a fabulous Italian restaurant that is renowned for its fine Italian wines and its Neapolitan pizza. Popular among Dublin's hip crowd, this swank venue is decked up with art works. Their seasonal fare features a set menu for lunch as well as evening. But it is always laden with scrumptious pizzas and Cicchetti. You can choose to dine alfresco in their terrace and indulge in some people watching as well. An upscale place that act as a perfect venue for the next romantic outing.

For those who love everything French, a visit to The French Paradox will be delightful. This wine bar and shop has a chic setting and features superb wines from France's top vineyards. Settle in their bar and take a sip of vino. Ask for their staff for suggestions and they will guide you to the right one. Nibble on tapas inspired French bites that are a perfect accompaniment to your wine. The shop besides exquisite wines also stocks cheese, Havana Cigars, French preserves, charcuterie, and gift vouchers.

A rather kitschy bar occupying three separate buildings, the Hairy Lemon's interior is packed with bric-a-brac, rickety bicycles and other assorted odds and ends that give the pub a strangely disjointed feel. Nevertheless, the pub is certainly good fun, and particularly popular with office workers in the immediate vicinity. The food menu is as impressive as the drink list, top picks among which includes the seafood pasta, Irish beef burger and, beef and Guinness pie, to name a few. There's a good selection of veggie alternatives too, so the vegetarians needn't feel left out.
