"Attraction-Packed Park"
Established in the year 1971, the Ben Boyd National Park boasts of a spectacular topography, unlike any other national park in the country. Sprawling across 10486 hectares (104.86 square kilometers), the national park harbors geological attractions dating back to Paleogene era. Overlooking the glistening blue waters of Pacific, the millennia-old white sand formation capped with vibrant red clay called The Pinnacles, paints a breathtaking picture on park's canvas. The Pinnacles loop walking trail is a fun way to explore the site, beginning with an easy woodland walk and offering two lookouts from which to admire the majestic and distinctly-eroded landmark. While the terrain is largely flat, more challenging walks are also possible at Ben Boyd National Park. Outdoor enthusiasts can opt for a multi-day hike that travels from the site's Boyd Tower to the Green Cape Lighthouse.
